Summary
After his embarrassing defeat following his song battle with Alastor on national television, the other two Vees convince Vox to start going to therapy to work out whatever beef he has with the Radio Demon. Unfortunately, due to the lack of therapists in Hell that measure up to Vox’s standards, his only remaining option is to try another recently announced Hellish service: personalized, rehabilitation-focused anger management courses run by one Princess Charlotte “Charlie” Morningstar. Vox has no intention of rehabilitating, but maybe if he goes, Velvette and Valentino will finally hop off his dick about his “weird obsession” with Alastor.
This story takes place right after the song Stayed Gone. They never have that meeting about sending in Sir Pentious as a spy, they have an intervention instead.
Please don't read this story if you're under eighteen! I am an adult who is writing this story for other adults, and due to mature themes within the story as well as the source material itself, I would prefer that minors do not engage. Thanks for respecting my boundaries ^^

They should have been Vox and Alastor. The Television Demon and the Radio Demon. Powerful separately, unstoppable together. A perfect partnership between two of the most successful demons in Hell. Until it wasn’t.
When they had started working together, Alastor had set up one single qualm: don’t get too attached. Don’t wish for more. Don’t fall in love.
Vox had tried to adhere, really he had, but when all he could think about was Alastor’s smile, his laugh, his brilliance, his bloodlust, his being, and his nights had turned sleepless because his dreams were filled with red stripes and deer horns, he just couldn’t stay silent anymore. There was a brief moment, even, when he thought that Alastor might have felt the same.
But he hadn’t.
This isn’t a story about the Radio Demon. This is a story about a crushed heart and a shattered screen, about broken promises and burlesque dancers, about moving on from one toxic relationship to another. This is a story about the pieces of Vox that Alastor left behind, and the pieces that might never be recovered.

Basically a more fleshed out version of the hidden scene between Show 2 and Show 3 of Fox's route. I'm a huge Ren stan and I feel like more content for him needs to exist. I'm writing the stuff I want to see, haha.
I do not condone abuse or anything in the BTD universe (obviously) but I'm highkey a Ren apologist and I'm not sorry. I can fix him you guys!!! ;-;
