But Ulia isn’t lucky, not when her mother is an envious alcoholic who spends most of her days in the bottle. Ulia was made into a source of income not long after her Quirk manifested, and her mother did everything she could to protect that source of inflow. A perceived attempt to run away and a drunken rage induced injury leaves Ulia alone in her room in the basement battling an infection and fever. It is when she is at her lowest when a mysterious hand whisks her away to another world.
