Summary
"It's hard not to love Rin," is what he says instead, because that's what brought them to this. It's nobody's fault, especially not Rin's, but it feels like they've both been sleeping for so long. Maybe it's important to remember, sometimes, that it's not just Rin who has changed - Haruka and Makoto have been growing up too, if with less notice.

Their gaze meets for a second and the train passes, and while it blocks his sight Haru sees his life flashing before his eyes. Their lives. All the moments they shared together, the good and the bad, especially the last, busy year that just ended.And within the few seconds that separate him from running to Rin’s side again, Haru manages to sort out the feelings that had been boiling in his veins since the moment they met.
