Summary
So Griffin discreetly took them under her wings. She gave them the support they needed to bring out the best in them as witches. And she did that even though they were already striving for perfection on their own. They became the examples in her lessons when something was demonstrated, often volunteered when Griffin had a task to complete, and earned private lessons. She hated that part of her did it to keep a closer eye on their abilities, but it did not lessen the pride she felt during those lessons. Darcy became not only the best in her class but also the best in her year; when it came to dueling, no one could hold a candle to Stormy, and Icy ruled the other witches with an iron fist, while she and her sisters were the first to volunteer for any mischief. Even when the ice witch was still in her probationary year, the blonde had already earned the respect of the older students. No one could touch them. Griffin could proudly claim that she had not taught witches who had realized their potential as fully as these three for a long time.
