Summary
After Steve wakes up from the ice, the world is a whole lot different from what he rememebers. He is having a hard time accepting the years he missed, finding his place in this new world and making a life for himself again.
We meet up with him when SHIELD gives him a gift from his past. This gift forces Steve to open up his heart and start accepting feelings he has been hiding from all his life.In short Steve is angry. Very angry.

Summary
Bucky loves to wear his squeaky duck shoes, they are his favorite! Steve allows this behavior, after all it is kind of endearing to see his boyfriend being childlike happy over a pair of shoes. However, this behavior can only be tolerated in the comfort of their own home, Steve won’t ever allow Bucky to wear these shoes outside the house.
Bucky acts as though he has never heard of such a thing. -

Bucky is the owner of a tailor shop somewhere in New York. He’s met Steve via a mutual friend and when Bucky’s dad was still alive they used to go partying.
Now Bucky has taken over the business of his dad he doesn’t go out much anymore. While Steve remained a friend-of-a-friend he does come over to Bucky’s shop to get his clothes tailor-made. Being a big guy has it’s draw-backs, like not fitting in confection-clothing.
