“Would you like some help, Burning Spice?” Dark Cacao offered. The guards looked at him in shock as if he had a death wish.
“I don’t need help! I’m doing this,” Burning Spice grunted as he pulled on the brush harder, “Just fine!” Dark Cacao sighed and smiled in amusement.
“I myself have long hair, I understand how it can sometimes be difficult.” Dark Cacao stepped up to the throne and a few guards gasped quietly. Burning Spice gripped the brush in his hand tightly, watching with wide eyes as Dark Cacao stopped beside him. He took the brush from Burning Spice and pushed his shoulder gently to urge him to turn. “Please, let me help you. It’s the least I can do.”
