Meanwhile, Rick escapes with Michonne, but is devastated by the loss of his family. Rick refuses to give up searching for his son, however it will take another member of their group to bring them back together. Will Carl ever be the same?

Summary

On his own for three months with nobody but his sister and the clothes on his back, he fights to survive. Eventually, he is found by Daryl and Aaron fifty miles from Alexandria during their recruitment search. Reunited with his family, Carl struggles to fit in with a new normal. Pining after pride and trust from his father, falling in love, and hardening into the new world order, Carl leads by example on how to live again- with a ruthless, unhinged touch.
