Summary
Moving up in Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzaplex was a combination of luck, determination, and lasting longer than everyone else. Considering the turnover rate for this place was anywhere from a mere week to a max of two months, well… It really wasn’t that hard to fly through the various positions at the Pizzaplex.
As long as you didn’t mind the animatronics, of course.
In the span of a mere half a year, Avery had accumulated many name badges: Food Court, El Chip’s, Mazercise, Fazer Blast, Fazcade, Lucky Star’s Gift Shop, Gator Golf, and even Roxy Raceway. They filled so many staff positions that they could walk around the Pizzaplex blindfolded. At first, it was just an okay service job with an okay income and a management that seemed to like them well enough.
And then they started to befriend the animatronics…
This is the story of a cashier turned animatronic handler, and how getting involved with Fazbear Inc.’s shining stars turned their life upside down in ways they never expected— and rewrite the stars of their fate along the way.

Will’s voice trails off, and he runs a hand over his face. Mike waits a few moments to see if he’ll say anything else, but when Will doesn’t, he takes a shaky breath and tries to find his own courage.
“And you thought, what?” Mike whispers. “That - that it wouldn’t mean as much to me if it came from you?”
Will flinches. He’s still turned away from Mike, and there’s a desperation in his voice when he whispers back, “Mike, please…”
