Summary
Everyone seems to agree on a few things about one Midoriya Izuku’s home life. His mother is kind and hard-working. Izuku does his best to help. They are on the poorer side. I’ve done a bit of research and it turns out that Japan considers high school noncompulsory schooling and, therefore, not necessarily necessary. While jobs are limited, minors the age of 15 and up can join the workforce. 12, if they go into entertainment. So what if Izuku didn’t try to be a hero? What if, after middle school, he just tried to get a job? And what if that job just so happened to be at U.A. anyway?
Aka: That one where Izuku is a good boy (TM) but has to give up on his dreams.
OR: Izuku does not try to be a hero, but that does NOT mean he's gonna turn into a villain or be a mere civilian.((Also chapters are gonna be pretty short for a while. Sorry.))
