Summary
Emerald is a drone whose origins are unknown to her, Uzi, and everyone else. With no memories of her past and reoccurring nightmares/visions often keeping her awake at night, Emerald is determined to find out who and what she is.
After having yet another terrifying nightmare, she makes the deadly risk to go to the lair of the Disassembly Drones along with Uzi, thinking that she'll find answers about her past. It isn't until after both girls have a nearly deadly encounter with the Murder Drones that questions turn into answers. However, as time goes on, Emerald discovers not only her past, but that she may have a connection with the murderous drones, both good and bad.

Summary
What would you do if you woke up in a body that wasn't yours, in a world that you weren't a part of, in a story that you didn't belong to?
Uzi had no idea how it happened. Her memories leading up to the last few hours of her life — her normal life — were coming back blank, but she was pretty sure she didn't go to bed a human. As if that wasn't weird enough, Uzi quickly realized that she wasn't alone in this world. Her friends, people she swears she knows, started showing up, living their lives like nothing happened. Worst of all? She is nothing more than a stranger to them.
Well, all of them but one, who frustratingly seems to know more than she lets on.
