Summary
Peter awakes with a groan, his hand going to his head as he sits up. He looks around confused, before it all comes rushing back to him.
Dr strange and the spell. Ned, MJ, Tony and… May. Oh god. It only just happened but here he was, sitting on the dirty floor of some random place already feeling sorry for himself. It was his fault. Of course it was. If he hadn't been so stupid, if he had listened to Tony instead of arguing with him, then he wouldn't have been in that situation. Trusting Beck. If he hadn't been so stubborn, he's sure Tony and Miss Potts would've sorted it out, hidden his identity away. But instead he acted irrationally, and now look at where that got him. In some dingy old alleyway.

Peter gets sent to the DCU as a result of Dr Strange’s spell, instead of being forgotten about.

Peter is a street kid, that's been all his life or at least what he remembers. He tries to be as human as he can, he stays out of other business he works in little jobs people give him, in the eyes of the people Peter is just a twelve scrawny kid too smart to be good. He was doing good too good to be true so when people come knocking at his door and try to take him everything he build comes down in an instant and he becomes involved with the people he most wanted to avoid but this could be exactly what he needed.

Summary
He looked first at the open grave, then at the coffin he had broken to climb out. His gaze shifted from the tree beside which his grave had been dug to the nearby wheat field. Around him were candles, strange patterns on the ground, and blood… everything looked like a ritual. Peter looked at the letter in his hand and read it once more:
"Don’t go to the castle. You don’t want to become the princess locked in the tower, do you?"
And at the end, it was signed: Uncle D…
“Who are you, Uncle D… and where am I? Or maybe I should ask—who am I now?”

His face is pale. Lips curled up in a grotesque smile. Torn up the cheeks, oozing blood that drips onto the cement floor. One hand rips at his dark hair, greasy and limp over manic eyes. The other hangs at his side, limply clinging to a gun. “Ha ha ha-” Half frantic laughter, half distraught sobs that rattle through his chest.
Between them, the Joker’s body. Blood blossoming around his head. Brain matter spattered on the floor. Smiling. Eyes vacantly staring up at the ceiling.
“Hahahahaha-”
Bruce approaches slowly. Like he’s approaching a skittish animal. “Tim,” he says softly, and the boy blinks at him, still laughing, still sobbing. There are tears in his eyes. “Tim, put down the gun.”
