    Summary

The police are going to come to the house, again, they’re going to interview Tubbo, again, they’re going to assure them that it looks like Tommy’s foster family left and took him with them of their own accord, again, they’re going to say they’re doing everything they can and they take kidnappings very seriously, again.

They’re going to take the letter and sweater, probably.

It doesn’t really matter though, to Tubbo the most important thing is that he just got confirmation of something he knew was true.

    Tommy is alive

    --

    or

Tubbo's been busy in the time since Tommy's kidnapping. He knows his friend is alive, and he knows that with his experience with true crime and Ranboo... having a driver's license they can track down and save him.

At least that's what makes sense in Tubbo's head.

Maybe tracking down serial killers isn't the smartest plan.

    Summary

Long before she became the mercenary whispered about in every Umbrella dossier, the Conejo Fantasma, or the Ghost Rabbit, Riley Torres was a cop with glitter pens and a badge too bright for Raccoon City’s shadows.

A rookie officer with a heart full of fire, Riley believed in justice, law, and the promise of change. With her best friend and partner, Leon S. Kennedy, she dreamed of cleaning up the streets together. She loved her family, her neighborhood, and the city she swore to protect, following in her father's footsteps to be the greatest cop. But Raccoon City was already rotting from the inside, feeding the illusion that everything was under control.

When the outbreak came, Riley's faith shattered. Betrayed by the system she trusted and abandoned by the people who were suppose to help her, she was left to die amid the chaos. Her name disappeared from reports, her badge lost beneath the ruins.

But like Umbrella’s secrets, Riley Torres refused to stay buried. She tried to be a good cop. She tried to believe in justice. She really did. But little does anyone remember: conejos are fantastic diggers. And this one has clawed her way out of the grave with a grudge.

Tommy is pretty much the sole employee of a cafe called Pogtopia, that's only open during the night. Despite all odds, he somehow manages to keep collecting new customers and they are all of a particularly eccentric variety. If only he could collect days off like he does vigilantes and villains...

Set right after trial 2, when Kokichi reveals Maki's true ultimate and she chokes his ass....

    ....but he passes out, oops.

    ---------

Maki looks at Kaito for the longest moment, then complies, tossing the shorter man precariously. Kokichi lands on his side, hitting his head on the ground. He does not move.

She stood there, focusing back to the terrified group, a grimace on her face. Shuichi, gathering the courage to speak, clears his throat.

"...Maki? Is he right? Are you an...assassin?"

She glares at him, then turns her back to walk away.

    Summary

They'd awoken just before dawn to realize that nine had become eight. With no signs of a struggle, and no scent trail, it truly seemed as if Wild vanished in the night like a ghost.

He'd had no warning, no chance to say his farewells. Wild had been dragged home for his second Journey with no direction or explanation.

Now Wild stood there, on the edge of the forest with trembling, mis-matched hands, wondering if this was even real. To them, he'd been gone for two months, but to Wild? Nine years was a very long time.
