Summary
Paris had always been a dangerous city, but Frollo's corruption only escalated after the Feast of Fools. As leader of the Romani, Clopin tries to keep his people safe, but he cannot do it alone. He must seek help from his closest confidante and lifelong friend if he means to keep at least some of his people alive.
UPDATE: Hello my beautiful readers! It's been a long time since I completed this work, but Clopin and Noelle are still living rent free in my heart and mind. Since my writing skills have grown a lot since I first wrote this, I decided to give it a polishing up. I'm not changing much. I'll just go through it chapter by chapter, correcting some mistakes, fixing some wonky sentences I wasn't happy with, and maybe even adding some bonus scenes & dialogue. Hope you enjoy the new remastered version!

Summary
Exactly what it says on the tin. I completely rewrite the sequel to Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame. Watch me weave a story that demands animation that's at least marginally better than what we got in the sequel.
Plot summary: Paris is preparing to welcome the pope, and Quasimodo has been charged with the safekeeping of a new bell to be dedicated to the pope. Meanwhile, an old enemy of Clopin's returns to Paris to seek revenge, and a girl in his possession stumbles into Quasi's life, giving him the opportunity to be her knight in shining armor.

Summary
When faced with something new, the first thing a person does is try to fit into a pre-existing paradigm. They associate the new discovery with something they already know, giving one's self guidelines to how to handle the new thing. While often mostly harmless, this can do a huge disservice to the thing just discovered. They may have to exclude parts of this new thing to fit it into the paradigm. They could also try to expand the paradigm to fully encompass the new discovery, but that can only go so far. Sometimes, you just have to accept that the discovery and the paradigm are incompatible, and start a new one.
With both the Director and the Queen dead, Ambrosius is put in charge of rebuilding the Institute. Nimona is praised as being a Hero, although still supposedly dead. Ballister has been reinstated as a knight, and can often be found helping Ambrosius with his new duties when he's not with Nimona. Outside of them, though, the Kingdom is still in disarray, and uncertainty festers around every corner. It doesn't help that corruption built up over centuries is impossible to simply wipe away. These three Heroes will still have to battle against — and perhaps with — what remains of the Kingdom before.
