Summary
In 1938, there's a bar in Brooklyn called Sully’s where people are safe to be themselves. Behind the bar, a girl pours drinks. She's always got a big smile for Steve and she says queer like it's a good thing. On a regular basis, she takes his shoulders in her hands and tries to shake sense into him, saying, "When will you do something about that best friend of yours?"
In 2012, Bucky’s gone, but Steve’s not, and the girl’s hands are too old to shake him. She does her best to make him see sense anyway.
Steve had people who loved him before the war, and it turns out a few of them are still around when he finally comes home.

Summary
When the target falls into the Potomac, the Winter Soldier follows, if only to quiet the scream in his head. The scream does relent, but in its wake lay echoes of a life that can't be his. With HYDRA in ruins, though, there's no one to stop him investigating those echoes. And so, seventy years after falling into a nightmare, Bucky Barnes wakes up.

Summary
Set post Captain America: Civil War. Bucky has rejoined the group on the run after his time in Wakanda. The trigger words no longer have control over him.
Bucky, Steve, Nat, Wanda and Sam are on the run together.
Thaddeus Ross goes the extra length to bring the fugitives in and Steve and Bucky are injured in the process.
Bucky is forced to look to Tony Stark for help.
Ross has some tricks up his sleeve and it doesn't go well for Bucky.
