Rellenó la máquina con más café, aprovecharía que el día está por cerrar para poder hacer un té para el. Su jefa lo ha regañado varias veces por su consumo excesivo de café en las tardes, así que solo le tiene permitido preparar bebidas relajantes. Pero si Law, como estudiante de medicina en quinto año le señalará que ella también hacía lo mismo, sería regañado por hablarle mal a una mujer mayor.
Su cliente habitual de este horario era un anciano que vivía a dos cuadras, el viejo Wolf era gruñón la mayor parte del tiempo, pero soportable para alguien con el temperamento de Law.
Después de terminar el café negro y habérselo entregado al hombre mayor, la campanilla de la puerta dio el aviso de un nuevo comensal. Law suspiro con cansancio y coloco su mejor cara de servicio al cliente.
De todas las personas, no esperaba que quien entrara sea un joven con un sombrero de paja, y menos que esté gritara enojado nada más entrar.
"¡TÚ! ¡DIME DONDE ESTA MARIANNE!"
Law quería irse a casa.

spoilers for hsr 3.3
When it comes to predatory, soul-sucking gacha games, Cosmic Impact Rail Zero was probably the worst of the worst. Did it have incredible characters? Yes. An engaging storyline? Double yes. Did it make Mydei want to blow his entire paycheck on weapons and skins and more rolls? Of course it did.
But it also killed off basically every character in the game, including the crown prince that shared Mydei's name– Mydeimos the Undying, Son of Gorgo. How the hell was that even possible?! He literally had undying in his title!?
So when the developers ask for feedback, Mydei goes off on a heated tangent– and finds himself reincarnated as his namesake. You know– the doomed prince, destined for a life of hardship? Destined to die?
Not if Mydei has anything to say about it.

Mydeimos makes a small noise, a mix between a trill and a growl. Impatient bastard. He doesn’t dare show his face for a week straight, but the moment his meal time is delayed ever so slightly he races over in an instant. Alright, maybe that’s a slight exaggeration. The situation is a little annoying though, a fact he comes to realise as his shock slowly subsides. Phainon adjusts his grip on the bucket, shifting to the handle as he makes to toss the fish like usual. The merman repeats that strange little noise.
“It’s okay, I’m getting it now,” Phainon states, not quite understanding the source of the merman’s disapproval, “Just give me a second.”
He is not, in fact, given a second.

After the previous caretaker resigns, marine biologist Phainon is tasked with caring for Amphoreus Aquarium’s merfolk exhibit. The merfolk in question, Mydei and Tribbie, are less than cooperative. But as their time together grows, so too do their bonds.
