Sherlock panicked for a second. John moved his phone away from his face. Was he going to hang up on him? Was he going to run towards the building? No, please, John, don’t do that, they will kill you.
“Leave a note when?” John answered back.
“Goodbye, John.” He had to stop talking. He could say something he would regret later.
“Sherlock, no! Please, don’t do this. I…”Sherlock gulped. He didn’t want to listen to this. The phone call had to stop.
