I lay this crime at your feet.” So saying, and recorded incredulously in every surviving account, Lord Swann spat at the foot of the Iron Throne.
Lord Hightower called for the guards to remove the man. They had to drag Lord Swann out as he yelled his vitriol at the King. His words as he was removed would haunt the rest of King Viserys’s reign. “You have damned her with your inaction. You have abandoned your duty as protector of the realm! You are no King! You are a puppet that does nothing!”
To this day Viserys I is known as King Viserys, the Do-Nothing King.

“Excuse me?” she says, the reaction so automatic she can’t stop it. She knows the years and countless sleepless nights have aged her, but, “That’s just rude.”
“You really don’t want to start a debate about what’s rude with me,” Elphaba points out before adding, “I didn’t say you look bad.”

"If you could’ve just kept your cool for a moment, we could’ve figured it out,” Glinda grumbled.
Elphaba rolled her eyes to disguise the tears that were beginning to form. She felt utterly rejected. Glinda wasn’t supposed to make her feel like this.
"Remember when you told me I could pick you?” she said quietly. “If I needed someone?”
"This is so much bigger than a lion cub, and you know that,” Glinda said, but she was unable to hide the hurt at having her words thrown back in her face.
"I needed someone,” Elphaba said simply.

Summary
Things go slightly differently during For Good (the song, not the movie, though I suppose that applies too) and Glinda’s story ends in a far better way than it does in any other version of the story.
