    Summary

There was a moment between birth and ascending where a newborn god was vulnerable, the touch of pure immortality still grabbing a hold of them. Immortality, after all, was not a thing to be created or destroyed. It was the concept of unchanging permanence, and one could not be born or dying permanently, forever.

And those who are not gods cannot see a god’s true form without irreparable harm.

The only thing Apollo ever saw was his sister’s true form.

    Summary

He is thirteen when he first realizes something is wrong.

Not wrong in the sense that he is sick or injured, but wrong in that something was fundamentally missed in the creation of, well, him. Somewhere, some god or the fates or power of a kind forgot to erase something when putting together the pieces that made Percy Jackson Percy Jackson.

    Someone’s memories.

    -

Percy Jackson is the demigod son of Poseidon. But he is also someone else, someone who should be long dead, and who he should not remember being. This presents a few problems. Namely: what do you do when you were reborn incorrectly?

    Summary

It’s a fundamental constant, that Tony Stark is a billionaire and a genius and philanthropist and we’ve heard this time and time again over the movies. Nobody in canon seems to appreciate just how much of a bullet they dodged, though [not so much a bullet as a Jericho missile]- that Tony, being Tony, focused on a better, brighter future, and not, you know, world domination. [It would have been so easy, at any point.]

But then again, there’s so many times when Tony Stark could have thrown in the towel and made the world a far worse place, long before the good Captain even got defrosted- and even more so after.

[Even if heroism is as integral as genius is to his character, it's still a fun thought exercise.]

    Moments of a Dying World
    — a tragedy in which rocks fall, everyone dies, and Thanos is vaguely impressed by the carnage. Diverges after AoU.
