When they reached the door to Bellamy’s unit, Clarke’s suspicions were all but confirmed. His hand reached out to scan his arm in front of the lock pad, but froze before it got there. Clarke looked up at him, and he threw his eyes back at her wildly. Bellamy opened his mouth and closed it again, like he couldn’t find the words he was looking for, his arm still suspended in the air a few inches from where it would open the lock. He looked absolutely terrified.
“Bellamy,” she said softly, placing a gentle hand on his bicep to reassure him, “whatever this is, I will do whatever I can to help you. You can trust me.” He held her eyes for a long moment, and then straightened his posture and nodded. He waved his arm to unlock the door, turned the handle, and led her into the dark suite.
Clarke watched while he flipped on the lights and then crossed the small room in three strides without looking at her. Bellamy pulled back the curtain shielding the bottom bunk, and winced when he heard Clarke’s sharp intake of breath.

Summary
Ragatha had been in the Circus for far longer than most of the others assumed. Nobody ever truly cared beyond what they assumed, so the members never put too much thought into it. Ragatha could still remember her first day, years ago. One of the older members, who’s face she was slowly forgetting by now, found her stumbling around one of the hallways of the circus and took her in almost like a parent, while the rest became like a family. Back then, everyone was pretty close. Despite the whole thing, Ragatha felt.. happy, almost. Happy to get away from the past, happy to get something akin to a break from real life.
But then members started abstracting, her little found family being exchanged for people who little by little kept more and more closed off, friendship and companionship burning out with every new candle on the little altar she kept on one of the shelves in her room, made up with the deliberate look of mere decoration. Each candle was for one of her friends, each candle she picked out especially for each passed member.
(In which an unlucky adventure set on an unlucky day makes Ragatha once again grieve what she used to have)

Ragatha politely nodded along to his speech. “Today, my eldest daughter, the one who has been with me for ages that I can barely recount how my adventures were without her cheerful encouragement, must grow up! And take the last step of starting her own life!”
Gangle raised her hand to interrupt, “Caine, what are you trying to say–”
“Oh, the sorrow! My lovely, sweet, kind, and eldest daughter will experience the happiest day of her life!” Caine threw his cane into the air, the top half exploding into rose petals that fell on top of the circus members.
“Today, Ragatha gets married!”
