“Sevika.” Mel purred, standing in the doorway of their bedroom and wearing a silky white robe.
“Yes, doll?”
“I have a proposition for you.”
“Oh yeah?” Sevika smirked, looking up from her desk. “Hit me.”
Mel came forward, leaning on the back of Sevika's chair and draping her arms around Sevika's shoulders. “For every day you successfully don't smoke, you get to have me.”
“Don't I already have you?” The taller woman teased.
“Darling.” Mel shrugged her silk robe off of her shoulders, “I mean you get to have me.”
Sevika didn't need to be told twice. If staying sober meant getting to have this Goddess of a woman all to herself in bed, she would do anything. Who wouldn't? This was Mel Medarda in her house, her bed, her skin. Of course she'd listen."

Summary
Sevika and her gang save Arthur from his expected death. She brings him back alive to where her gang is posted in the outskirts of Strawberry giving him the option to stay as long as he needs. Arthur is against it at first and immediately wants to leave, he's ready to leave the gang life behind and be a good person but he doesn't know where to start. He doesn't know if John is alive and Dutch and Micah are still out there. He wants revenge and he wants to kill Micah but there's an internal battle in him to leave it all in the past and start over again with the second chance he has. Unbeknownst to him, Sevika is on a similar path as he is, the both of them struggle in this new chapter of their life of wanting to be good for the people around them but also for themselves. They're haunted by the memories of their past actions, they've lost a lot and yet they still live.
