Summary
Stede’s employees have decided to drag him along to a concert to cheer him up from his (supposedly) awful divorce. Instead, he finds himself anxious and overwhelmed, hiding out in a public restroom.
One conversation, a pair of earplugs, and a makeshift backstage pass later: Stede has found he’s captured the attention of the infamous rock legend Blackbeard.
Not that he’s complaining. It turns out that the man is absolutely lovely.

September 1991.
So, Stede's first week of college was a train wreck.
First week over, and he was already done. After spending the whole time, running from his childhood bullies, he didn't know how it could get much worse.
His roommate, somehow talks him into a night on the town, which also starts, just as expected. A disaster.
He was starting to take it as a sign.
Maybe he should give up, and go back to his overbearing parents?
Or maybe he'd meet a beautiful stranger, who would show him the best night he'd ever had, and change his life forever?

After an accident that could have been deadly, Ed has had enough. He knows the only way for them to have peace is if Blackbeard is dead. It’s time for an epic fuckery.
Hopefully Edward Teach doesn’t die in the process.

Stede turns once to wave on the stairs—then glances back again, red-faced, when he stumbles on the next step.
Ed waits until he hears the door upstairs open and close before going inside the apartment, in a bit of a daze.
His gaze falls on the kitchen clock: it’s only noon. He still needs to take the clothes out of the washing machine.
“What the fuck,” he whispers.
