Summary
If someone had asked Subaru what he thought of Julius before his fight against the Archbishop, Subaru would have proudly answered with a wide grin and a string of insults aimed at the man he despised.
But now, he was the only one who remembered him. The only one who remembered the man who had set him straight in a duel at the cost of a humiliation, the only one who remembered his battle against the Archbishop of Sloth, and the only one who could recall who Julius Juukulius was.
So if someone were to ask him what he thought of Julius, he would probably insult him — all while keeping an imaginary tenderness in his tone, remembering what the knight whose sword could not cut anything but his own future was currently enduring.

Through Viktor’s taunts, Julius’s convictions begin to crumble ; his loyalty, his honor, and the forbidden feelings he refuses to name for a certain dark-haired boy with reckless courage

Summary
He was an asteroid, unstable and solitary, torn from its orbit by a force it no longer controlled. Cold, damaged, it drifted in the darkness, ready to shatter against any surface.
He was a somewhat tired star, still shining despite the years, illuminating those it passed without getting too close. It wasn't supposed to cross its path.
But when the asteroid grazed the star, it didn't explode. Not right away. It found a gravitational field stable enough to slow its fall. And maybe, just maybe, enough light to survive the night.
