Summary
In the quiet area, the short blonde got easily lost in his thoughts. Not exactly the greatest survival instincts. What snapped him out of his thoughts, however, was the loud clang of metal against concrete. The stranger jolted, his heart practically banging against his ribcage as if it were trying to escape from his body. He heard no chatter of distorted voices speaking over each other, so that was a good sign. Perhaps he had wandered into the shelter of an animal? Or even another person? The second option was less likely, seeing as most of the boxes were still lined and intact on the tall shelves where they had been last left by old workers.
Once again, he was quickly interrupted by the long groan of what was very obviously, an animal. He refused to believe a human could make such a noise.The stranger stuck close to the shelf, his side pressed tightly against the large shelf, making sure his footsteps could not be heard, until-
“Jellie! I told you not to run off like that! Be careful!” A strong voice called from the aisle of the crash. Was the animal… perhaps his? Who was he kidding, of course it was.
