    Summary

    Happily Ever After is a series I wrote on impulse. Though now I do have a plan on continuing it.

    Baek Suryong/Namgung Su is the main ship.

    I'll be involving a bit of the Chinese legends here and there, but a bit modified to fit this work. I meant no disrespect to any culture nor the people.

    And please know I tried my best.

    Quick notes:
    1. I wrote the second fanfiction "When the Mist Clears" before the first one "WHAT IN THE NAME IF THE COOKING FAIRY IS HAPPENING HERE?!"
    2. Due to the above mentioned reason, certain plot points in the first fanfiction won't appear in the second.
    3. I'm planning on continuing with it in the third part. I have an idea how to write it, I'm waiting for some time.

    It was evident that whenever Sung Hyunje spoke to Han Yoojin, his tone had always been gentle, much more approachable, and warm to some degree but welcoming to only one. This was something that Han Yoojin has been slowly learning to accept.

    "Oh nothing much, sometimes I have this thought that I might eventually die from work…"

    Yoojin glares at Hyunje.

    Hyunje laughs lightly, waving his hand as if he's dismissing it as a joke. "Not that has ever happened, and I don't think I want that anymore now."

    "Now? What do you mean?"

    "I'm saying that perhaps I've found something worth living for again, perhaps. I could be wrong, but for once I'm actually hoping it's true."

    "That's some conviction you have going on."

    "Hmm, I suppose if Yoojin-ssi thinks it's a good thing then I'm more than glad."

    or hyunje is an overworked attorney and yoojin is a vet trying things out. their love story starts like any other, really. with a bunch of hearty meals along the way.
