This is the most terrifying fanfiction I have ever read. It plays elegantly with the norms of both Invader Zim and the fandom, slowly building a nauseating sense of dread until the exact nature of the forces at play sinks in. Of course, this is Invader Zim fanfiction, so in the end things are still-as always-a game.
