Summary
In another life, where a British Major was not captured – or perhaps, where James Hamilton, Sr. never joined the military at all – and certain important conversations never happened, the events of history – and the musical – happened largely as expected. The war, the Reynolds Pamphlet, the death of a child, and the death of a man who was in many ways broken… all happened without two separated twins ever meeting again. A greater power – the nature of which is perhaps up for debate – took some exception to this, which will find Hamilton’s friends and family… and a few others… getting to know a bit more about a certain Treasury Secretary courtesy of a particular musical.

Following Bobby’s death and the Season 8 finale, Buck starts to develop some worsening pain in his bad leg. He ignores it, at first, the pain always comes and goes after all.
Though when he finally gets to the doctor and gets diagnosed with cancer, his situation really hits him. He really doesn’t have anyone right now and is going through it.

Well that is not going to go well when Tony takes Chim down under civilian arrest and calls for the cops.
Buck humm would be harder depending on what kind of Buck it is. Seal Buck/Ex-cop Buck or even I take no crap Buck would probably put a fast hard stop to the shenanigan's going on. Going straight to HRO, saying no to Jenny, report to IG, also depending on when they switched....
Early in the season for both of them while they were from a later timeline would be interesting.
Buck would clear the room during SWAK.

Summary
Buck made a friend as a child that would stay with him from that day on. That friend just so happened to be a spirited little water elemental. A promise has kept their bond a secret his entire life, but now that Buck is older, and a very perceptive Eddie Diaz has entered the picture, keeping his secret might not be as easy, or necessary, as he thought.
Follow Buck as he learns more about his bond and abilities, all while dragging an unaware Eddie and Chris along for the ride.
