Summary
When Jason Todd is thirteen, a Talon rips his throat out for trying to steal the tires off of the President of Gotham's car. He survives. At twenty, he's a sworn member of the League of Assassins and the CEO of a brand new company, all set to make his return to Gotham and take the revenge he's lived the last seven years of his life dreaming of. All he has to do is make the right approach.
When Richard Grayson was sixteen, he killed a boy in an alley. As far as he was concerned, that was the end of it.

Summary
Jason knows that he's far luckier than most. Being taken in by a king, raised as a prince, given a life of comfort and safety that he never would have come close to on the streets? It's the stuff of fairy-tales, and, like most fairy-tales, Jason knows it all comes at a price. It's restrictions, manners, an eventual marriage to a mate that probably won't bother trying to pretend they're interested in more than his title.
Having that marriage be to a king, and having an entire peace treaty hinging on Jason being exactly the kind of perfect, obedient, quiet omega he's never been, was not supposed to happen.

Summary
It probably wasn't a good idea to just up and leave Gotham, Jason can admit to that. But it was hard to resist the temptation of an isolated, private cabin out in the woods, firmly out from under the too-watchful eyes of way too many Bats. It's just a few days. Just a little break to give himself a bit of time to relax, maybe... explore some stuff. It could be fun. (At the least, it's definitely going to be educational.)
