Without a second thought, he vanished from the Plains to where the summons had originated from, finding himself in the dimly lit bedroom of the traveler's abode, warm and dry.

    The Adeptus looked somewhat rough, not bleeding or messy, but the battle he had ended only minutes ago was evident by the way he held his spear, his alert posture, his windswept hair, and his controlled breathing. "I'm here-"

    He paused, clutching his spear a little tighter as he brought it back to his side in a swift motion, chest tightening as he took in the scene before him. This was something he had only thought about in daydreams considered wholly unrealistic and rather selfish, the sight of Aether laid out on a bed this way, unclothed, flushed, and open.
