But something else stirs beneath her feet, ancient and full of grief, and Hornet's task proves far more treacherous than she had believed, her path littered with old gods and new threats. After the fall of the Radiance the pale siblings are left with the responsibility of looking after what remains of Hallownest. But while investigating the failing seals on the edge of the kingdom something goes wrong. Separated, the siblings face a new host of problems. They need to find each other again. They need to find their way back to Hallownest. But with the waring nations of the land they find themselves in it might just be easier to solve that problem before moving onto their own.
The Gaang did not intend to adopt a strange masked child who may or may not be a spirit, but it's not like they could just leave them on their own. Besides, if they're already traveling to the North Pole they might just run into whoever the child is looking for on the way.

So I have this AU i've created over on tumblr and the gist of it is that Ghost was thrown back in time and instead of immediately deciding to fix everything they've made it their goal to make the Pale King's life as shitty as possible through endless pranks and hindrances. Instead of going by Ghost they go by the Feral Vessel since they emerged with the Pure Vessel and haven't taken any effort to hide their personality.
It started out has a really funny thing but it's dipped into that juicy "not everything is how it seems" meat.
I've decided to just use this fic as a place to put all the drabbles I write for this AU.
