Staring at Remus’ alarming vital signs and wondering how she was going to bring his temperature down was not how Hermione planned on spending her first night off in almost a month. But St Mungo’s wouldn’t admit him and, well, it was Remus. She wasn’t going to just leave him to suffer while she went out drinking with her friends.
But lycanthropy was difficult to manage at the best of times, and too much pain medication obliterates the filter between his brain and mouth, resulting in a rather awkward confession.
