Summary
In the summer of 1944, on the very precipice of World War 2’s decisive turning point, the United States Army was making waves in preparation for the invasion of Nazi-occupied France. Sergeant Nolan Landry is assigned as the medic for the 2nd Battalion—and when the time comes to move out for D-Day, he is forced to reconcile himself with the inevitability of the situation.
