Then it goes silent. No more ringing, just silence as his eyes keep contact with Taehyung’s.
God, he can still remember the first time he saw those gorgeous eyes. He also can identify the rage in them at this moment, directed right at him. Somehow that startles him more than the punch he gets square to his jaw, way too distracted by his gorgeous mate to hear the bell and the whistle, let alone see the hit coming.

But instead of thanking Jungkook for his help and turning around again to run away from there, he discovered himself nodding, the words escaping from his mouth unconsciously.
