Alhaitham stares at the note. It’s still stuck on the lunchbox Kaveh uses for him. His handwriting is beautiful still, because there was no way Kaveh would be caught dead with hideous handwriting. It was a recent note Kaveh left, and Alhaitham doesn’t have the heart to throw it out. So he leaves it stuck on the cabinet.
He leaves it with all the other notes he’s been keeping since Kaveh moved out.
I’m making falafel tonight, so you better come home.
I spent a lot of time on this, so you better appreciate it.
Come home early tonight, I’m planning on making desserts.

Now, the finished version of “Telefones” (commonly shortened to just “fones”) have spread all across Teyvat and gained massive popularity. The Traveler received an unlimited supply as thanks for their help, and they proceeded to gift fones to all their friends. Surely that would be a good, efficient way to keep in touch, right?
(Basically, all the playable characters are stuffed in a canon-compliant chatfic.)
