Sirius had really thought he´d turned out fine, that he was a good person after all, not like those bigots whose DNA he shared. Then why does he feel so sick seeing James and Remus together?
Or: Sirius freaks out when James and Remus start dating. His conclusion: homophobia. The solution: Regulus to the rescue, because the younger Black has a few things to say about Sirius´s (really wrong) self assesment.

Summary
Regulus, in true self-sacrificing style, decides to get rid of Slytherins Locket himself. As a result, he is soon facing a deadly danger and while he goes on a journey through all the different lives he could have lived, it is up to Sirius, James, Barty, Evan and Pandora to safe their respective brother, (ex)lover and friend.

Summary
Instead of Shane, it is Ilya who suffers a concussion during the Boston-Montreal game in April 2017. Dazed and agitated, Ilya briefly starts speaking and responding only in Russian and the medics can’t calm him down. Luckily, Shane started studying Russian after Ilya spoke to him in Russian on the phone from Moscow. For no particular reason. Certainly not because he’s fallen in love with Ilya Rozanov.
In Montreal with lingering concussion symptoms, Ilya is advised not to fly home for a few days, and the hospital won’t release him without assurances that he has someone to stay with him until his symptoms improve. Luckily, Shane conveniently has a condo in Montreal no one knows about and a few days before he has to travel again.
But Ilya’s symptoms don’t resolve after a few days. Which is okay; Shane can handle it. He can take care of Ilya, study Russian, lead his team into the playoffs, and keep Ilya’s continued presence in Montreal a secret. He can do everything, no problem. He is Shane Hollander after all.

Still, he’s felt like absolute shit for weeks, and the idea of sitting in his hotel room, where he would probably masturbate, cry, and have another night of fitful sleep, did not make him feel any better. Getting to be skin to skin with Ilya Rozanov did. And surely Rozanov wouldn’t be demanding Shane make a nest in his damn bed if he didn’t fully intend on actually kissing him in it and keeping him there until morning, right?
Maybe that would be enough to pick Shane up out of this drop, keep it from happening again.

After not sending the "we didn't kiss" text, Shane's omega hormones go into distress mode. Despite trying to hide his symptoms and play through the misery, when Ilya Rozanov finds out what's going on, the alpha Shane's body wants most is determined to fix it.
