Summary
Connor deviate simply because of frustration and boredom after having to search for Lieutenant Anderson through several bars, when all that precious time could have been utilized with the Carlos Ortiz homicide case that he was ordered to assist in. Surprisingly, so does Amanda.
Or, a retelling where CyberLife goofed up so bad that both of their advanced Investigative Unit prototype and AI handler deviated pretty early on and team up to free other deviants they come across.

He swallowed and stepped into the scanner, his eyes on the floor. Peter didn’t want to see the triumph on Flash’s face, the hurt in Ned’s eyes, the anger in Mr Harrington’s when they realised he’d been lying.
“Peter Parker, Level 9 Access (Redacted).”
Uh–what? Had he heard that right?
or: a field trip fic in which peter has never met tony stark, and therefore has never had an internship, but has unlimited access to stark industries anyways and is completely perplexed by it.

Summary
He doesn’t realize he’s lost Connor until an android wearing the black and gold Stratford uniform runs past him. Everything happens almost too quickly for Hank’s eyes to keep up: The deviant with a gun, raising it and aiming right at Hank; and then Connor with a gun, shooting the deviant without mercy.
Hank’s heart beats so fast it nearly escapes his chest. “Holy shit,” he says, turning to look wide-eyed at Connor, whose appearance damn near gives him a heart attack.
There’s a dark, deep blue gash on the back of Connor’s hand, which he’s holding to his lower stomach. Blue drips from his hand and red stains his shirt beneath it. He looks unconcerned except for the stone-cold glare he has for the now-destroyed deviant. He presses the gun back into the hands of the shocked federal officer beside him.
“Hey, uh. Connor?” Hank says, managing to keep his voice from shaking.
“He was going to shoot. I intervened,” Connor explains.
“Where’d the red come from?” Chris asks.

Connor bleeds red. His past comes back to him, piece by piece, as he struggles to come to terms with his humanity.

Summary
Stark Industries is the world's leading engineering firm, researching and developing technology in almost every field of human existence - apart from weaponry, and everyone knows why that is. For some reason, there's a kid running round. Goes by Parker, Peter Parker. He's got a badge, he probably works here, the system says he's an intern. As far as everyone is concerned, that's all there is to it. Alas, Peter Parker is blissfully unaware that he has somehow gained thousands of colleagues. Sure, he signed the paperwork... but since when did Mr Stark explain things?

Summary
After escaping the Zen Garden, Connor is scared of being a threat to his own people. Running from New Jericho and the friends he made there, Connor turns to the only companion he's ever known- Lieutenant Hank Anderson, precinct alcoholic. Hank isn't the proper friend that Connor thinks he is, though. Things go downhill fast.
A fic where Hank reacts badly to Connor's sudden ability to feel and is a very, very mean drunk. Connor is too naive to understand the things Hank does to him aren't okay. At least I cut him a little slack- most of New Jericho forgives Connor for his actions as a machine, and many perceive him as a hero.
