Summary
Riley was never sure of what the building Playtime Co. used had going on. Even when they were interning there. But, a planned to be ‘quick visit’ in and out after receiving a letter telling them everyone was still there turns into a long game of chase with monsters still left in the building. And along with realizing the gory horrors Playtime had hiding just under the surface, they learn that they cannot die. Whether through some supernatural force or their mind being their worst enemy.
Seems there was a lot more down here than they anticipated.

Riley dies and comes back. This happens many times. And it’s added to the ever-growing list of things to figure out in the deep bowls of the factory.

“Angel, I don’t think this is necessary—”
“If you really are DogDay, which I doubt you are, you can say my name.”
Riley took a step back, as if challenging DogDay—no—this thing in the dark to approach the light. To approach them.
“Angel,” the nickname felt wrong from the creature. “I swear it’s me!”
“Say. My. Name.” They demanded again. “I’ve told you my name—Say. It.”
Why were they arguing? It was obvious this wasn’t him. Maybe they were just hoping it was. That he would say something. Anything.The thing in the dark did not reply.

Riley has a run-in with DogDay in the dark.
After talking to him some, they piece together quickly that the thing in the dark is not DogDay.

Angel grabbed the star.
They yanked it up off their Grabpack, fingers wrapped around the casing, and shook it — hard, short, furious, like trying to rattle something loose inside it, like shaking a snow globe of someone they genuinely could not stand. The light strobed with the motion.
Harley made a sound. Not a pained sound, obviously, he didn't have that luxury of pain, but a startled one, broken off at the edges. The voice scrambled slightly, like a record skipping.
Then Angel spoke:
"Shut up."
The words came out raw. Cracked through the middle, scraped from somewhere low and unguarded, the sound of a voice that didn't get used and resented being used now. Not loud. Just real. Just two words with all the weight of the last hour packed into them.
Angel's hand was still tight around the star. Their knuckles pale. Their jaw set hard enough to ache.
Harley stopped.
The silence that followed had an entirely different texture from every silence before it. Those had been Angel's. This one belonged to Harley, and it had the quality of a man looking at something he'd misclassified.
It lasted five seconds.
"Well," said Harley.

Summary
Ache. That was something they had been feeling for a long, long time now.
It's stronger this time— in their stomach, specifically. It buzzed within it, vibrating— moving. That moment, feeling just a sudden sharp pain go through their entire body— Poppy screaming for them, they couldn't get it out. Replaying over, and over again.
Yet, they were still alive. How stubborn were they, really? They wanted to question how, but they did not have any guts (Pun not intended) to check whatever happened down there. They knew they were dropped into that Poppy gel thing, and it felt oddly cold. Well, if Giblet viewed them as safe and alive, then they will have to force themselves to trust his word. They were still walking— Their head didn't hurt.
It was just the ache.
OR
The Player suffers the consequences of being stabbed through the stomach, and Giblet and Harley must help them, sort of.
