Summary
Tim Drake has lost practically all contact with the Batfamily after his falling out with them over batman's supposed death, now working as a vigilante outside of the Batfamily support he makes a small mistake in a fight and doesn't bother saving himself. Superman, on the other hand, does bother to save him.

essentially just me being incredibly pissed at dc writers for continuously sidelining tim drake, ruining his friendships by freaking retconning them and being absolutely STARVED for tim drake content in the big (almost) 2026 and resolving myself to solve this issue at once. (this will be a multiple part series of which this three chapter fic is the beginning !!)

Summary
Conner hadn't been avoiding Gotham on purpose, honest. It's just, things got complicated, and he needed time to work through them. Regardless of his feelings on the matter, he ends up back in the city earlier than he'd hoped. It's fine, though, totally chill, because he's pretty sure he's got a handle on everything now. He can be normal again, as long as they stay normal.
Unfortunately, Tim and Bernard seemed to have missed that particular memo.
(featuring: Conner Kent's weak, treacherous heart being weak and treacherous; Tim Drake maxxing out his compartmentalisation stats; and Bernard Dowd taking advantage of local anaestasia.)

“Conner Kent from Smallville.”
A ringing noise sounded in Kon’s ears and he felt his heart drop. His roommate on his other side stood up and started screaming in excitement. Kon could feel the other man shaking his shoulders but only one thought was repeating itself over and over in his head.
Shit.
...A Selection is held for Tim to find his future spouse, much to his misery and suspect reasoning. Kon is chosen to participate, but only determined to stick around to spend time with his friends and help Tim pick the right person. He definitely doesn't want to become royalty nor is he falling in love with his new best friend. Right?
