Caitlyn doesn’t say anything at first, instead holds her close with her hands working against the hard chord of broad shoulders, idly tracing patterns into the inked shapes and scars littering Vi’s back.
“I’m fine…” She manages after a time, though the waver of her voice betrays her omission.
