“Deku,” Bakugou called as he knocked on the door. “Are you sure you don’t want to come to the gym with us? We’re—”
“I already said no,” Deku cut him off, barely opening the door. His usually wide eyes were narrowed in a glare.
“I know,” Bakugou huffed. “I was double-checking since you never pass up an opportunity to train.”
“Well, I said no today. Thanks for inviting me, Kacchan.” Before Bakugou could say another word, the door was shut in his face.
“What the hell was that?” Kirishima whisper-yelled.
Deku had been, for lack of a better term, a bitch lately. Which was odd. “Bitchy” was a word people would use to describe Bakugou, never Deku. For someone who was usually the sweetest person ever, he had a temper lately.
“I told you, he’s been a complete dick,” Bakugou sighed.

Or, when Deku begins to act uncharacteristically angry, Bakugou is determined to figure out the cause. He has a guess as to what could be troubling Deku, and he hopes that he's wrong.

Izuku's injuries catch up to him just as they're making the move into the dorms. Not only does he decide the best way to deal with them is to ignore it as much as physically possible, but he also does his best to hide it from his friends. Until he can't.
They seem to think it's a 'big deal' his hands sometimes hurt so much that he can't use them. Izuku doesn't want to think about it. He doesn't want to need special treatment. He doesn't want to have this problem, but it's getting harder and harder to do anything else.Series

Izuku swallows. “My plans would have…gotten civilians killed?”
Aizawa stares at him for another long moment, then breaks off and rubs at his eyes. “Your plans had an excellent chance of preserving civilian lives.”
Izuku waits, uncomprehending.
“However,” Aizawa continues, “I’d say on average, there was about a 30% chance your suggested course of action would have gotten you killed.”
Izuku fails a test and Aizawa issues an ultimatum.

Summary
Reki Kyan is fifteen, and his younger sister has insisted he do something fun with her at an Okinawan summer festival. She drags him to a tarot reader, who gives him a very interesting reading about someone he will potentially meet in the future.
Across the ocean in Canada, Langa Hasegawa, also fifteen, has recently lost his father. Lonely, deep in grief, and no longer able to enjoy his passion of snowboarding any more without him, he wanders blindly into a street festival in Vancouver. There, he meets an eerie fortune teller, who has a lot to say about his imminent future, and about his potential soulmate.

“Uhm…Are you okay, Kacchan? You…don’t look so good,”
“What are you talking about? I look great.”
“Of course, Kacchan! You always look great! I mean uhm. You look…sick, though.”
“I’m fine! Now shut yer trap and let—”
Katsuki went into a bad coughing fit before he could even finish his sentence. As he started to walk towards the steps, he stumbled slightly and almost fell down them. Izuku grabbed onto him so he wouldn’t fall.
“Kacchan! No! you are sick, you need to rest!”
“I don’t need rest!”
“Yes, you do!”
Katsuki tried to get out of his grasp and walk past him, but Izuku wasn’t having it. He grabbed him up by his waist and dragged him inside, Katsuki fighting him with the little energy he seemed to have.
“Get offa me, Izuku! Don’t make me explode your ass into next week!”
“I said no, Kacchan!”

Katsuki was determined to make Izuku’s birthday this year the best yet.
That is, until he got sick.
But…to Izuku, maybe it still will be?
