Instead, finding companionship in the creatures that were located on her current residence. But as quickly as they were acquainted, they had fled like an unkindness of ravens from the unholy screech of the howler monkey freighted by dinosaur which was actually a mossy log in the dead of night under the northern sky. "
This is an inside joke that no one will understand.

Summary
Ryan and Shane have been moving around something that is coming to a head between them. After a car accident, on the way to an investigation, Ryan slowly starts to become suspicious that Shane might not be what he seems. He realizes, though, that he just might not care.
Shane sits forward suddenly. “Hey, pull over up here.”
Ryan follows the instruction without questioning it, which probably says something about either his willingness to listen to Shane or his sanity. Maybe both; they go hand in hand. He puts on his blinker, even though they haven’t seen another car in a couple of minutes, and pulls off onto the shoulder.
“Are you gonna puke or something?” he asks, putting the car into park, as Shane takes off his seatbelt with one hand and tugs off his Ray Bans with the other.
“You better hope not,” he murmurs as he leans over the center console and kisses Ryan solidly on the mouth.

After a car accident that Shane shouldn't have survived, Ryan starts noticing a few things, until he traps Shane with a Salt line
"He swears that it stops cold in his chest when Shane draws up just short of the carpeting. Their eyes meet and Shane blinks at him, slowly. Once, twice, and on the third, he looks down at his feet. Ryan breaks out in a cold sweat, nausea churning his insides so hard that he thinks he’s just as likely to throw up as he is pass out.
A quiet exhale leaves Shane.
Ryan watches him set his beer down on the counter and look up to meet his gaze. He says nothing.

Okay, in hindsight, this was a bad idea. Shane knew from the moment Ryan mentioned it, the foreboding bubbled up in his stomach, heavy. Of course, being a self-proclaimed idiot, he let the events unfold before him.

“Shane” he whispered “what the hell ma-”
“Please, I'll explain later” Shane's eyes met Ryan's and, for one second his eyes turned black.

Summary
When a hunt goes wrong Dean is forced to choose between getting killed by hellhounds or seeking shelter in the Forest of Souls, a forest full of the worst things Purgatory could spit out into the world of humans. Dean’s chances of survival are basically zero but still better than getting torn apart by a hellhound.
He expects the werewolves and the vampire, but nothing could have prepared him for Castiel. He wasn’t like any creature Dean has ever seen before; powerful enough to keep every other monster away from Dean, impervious to monster warding and constantly evolving. Towards what, Dean doesn’t know. But for all his grumpiness, Castiel doesn’t seem to mean Dean any harm.
But what is he? And might Dean make it out alive after all?

I really like the idea of cass as some strange unknowable monster angel. Then actual angels showed up and kinda ruined the whole creepy criptes thing it had going on, but I still liked it.

Summary
Dean hasn't seen Cas' wings in months and starts wondering if he'd done something bad enough to erase Cas' trust in him and mess up their relationship forever. Turns out, this has less to do with trust and more to do with insecurities Cas wouldn't have in an ideal world, and it's up to Dean to try to help him through, in any way that he can.
