The old woman frowned. “The man at the stall said this lettuce was good.”
“Well, that man clearly doesn’t know his fucking lettuce!” Katsuki snapped, and she raised an eyebrow.
“I don’t think I’ve ever met a Hero so passionate about…lettuce.”
Katsuki’s face heated up, and he quickly ducked into his high collar to hide it.
“I don’t think I’ve met a Hero with such a dirty mouth either,” she continued with a growing smile, and Katsuki blushed harder.
“Listen, lady, as long as I save people, my language doesn’t matter,” he said, but it sounded a bit petulant.
She laughed, a light, tinkling sound. “I guess not.”

So, when he found himself hunched over his laptop at 1 a.m., staring at the homepage of Archive of Our Own, his pride took a hit so hard he almost felt winded. His hands hovered uncertainly over the keyboard as if they were caught in some tug-of-war between action and retreat. The screen’s pale glow lit up his face, emphasizing the flush of mortification creeping up his neck and settling hotly across his cheeks.
What the hell was a DKBK?
Curiosity killed the cat—or in this case, Katsuki’s dignity.
