Summary
Mono is a well known faceless teen influencer online, most only knowing few details about him. Moving around from foster home to home, he eventually gets moved to Pale City. There's one problem however:
He's selectively mute.
Six has grown up with her mother, moving to the Pale City at the age of two. Her mother, known for her ownership of the restaurant The Maw, is a gentle soul who just wants the best for her daughter. Her friends, Arkay and Raine, grew up alongside her, Raine's parents taking over a massive TV station in Pale City known as "The Signal Tower," its old owner having disappeared several years ago due to some unforeseen circumstances. Arkay had been adopted into the family some time ago, his dad, the TV star of The Signal Tower, having gotten into legal trouble many years ago that left the boy scrambling for a hold.
And when a new boy shows up in their school, seemingly quiet and strange, they get closer than they expected to him. Secrets are revealed, and Mono doesn't know how much more he can take before it all falls apart.
