The only events she had ever had much interaction with any of the Wayne family was the annual fundraisers that Mr. Wayne’s children chose. This was the second year that Richard had not been present for the planning of his event.Alice could remember the steely look Mr. Wayne had given her when she had asked if it was still going ahead the first year he had been absent. She didn’t think she would ever forget the chill it had given her, almost as if a ghost went through her.

Luke grinned and bounced on his heels while Wedge gnawed on the inside of his cheek, tasting copper and bile and thinking of dead friends, of the shudder of the laser cannons impacting his engine — the red warning lights that flashed across his cockpit and the screech of his astromech and Luke demanding he get clear.

Everyone knew Luke's face, and she knew it better than most: the different degrees of his smiles and the set of his jaw when he had decided on a particularly stupid course of action and the way sometimes his eyes crinkled into a smile even though his mouth didn't because he was trying to suppress a laugh.
But even though his face was right, his eyes were wrong. They weren't the pure blue of summer skies, but xanthous gold and rimmed in fiery red. Sith eyes.
Luke Skywalker had Sith eyes.
