About a week after the battle with Gaea, the demigods are shocked to learn that Artemis from almost a year in the future has turned up. She informs them that she has a plan, one that may just reduce the amount of tragedy that has transpired over the last five years. All they need to do is go back in time and relive everything. Simple, right?Yes, this is a Reading the Books fanfic. Yes, this is an overused trope. That being said, I really hope that I can finish this. I will be leaning into a lot of discussion about mental health in this, so keep that in mind.

Summary
It takes six months for Luke to give into Kronos. It takes two weeks for Percy Jackson to make him regret everything he’s done.
Before he justified it, he believed in the voice in his head, the voice dripping in his nightmares. He believed in toppling the Gods because of Thalia, because of the countless children he had burned over the years, and because of Annabeth and the life she would never get. Luke believed in Kronos.
And then came Percy Jackson, twelve and annoying and oblivious and a child. Because, unlike all the Demigods at Camp, Luke could not look at Percy without seeing a kid. And that makes all the difference in the world.

In which Percy sticks around Camp a little longer, and Luke realizes that he's a kid. He realizes that there are consequences to War, and he decides that he won't kill, not for the Gods or for Kronos. (Some things change for the better.)

She had grown up with his love burried into her side. Shed engulfed it, grown around it untill it was a constant warmth somewhere between her heart and her ribs. And maybe, sometimes, when she was between being asleep and being awake, somewhere too far away she could feel a part of herself as well. A part of herself tucked between his ribs.
Or- Annabeth tells Piper about her missing boyfriend. Percy tells Hazel about the only person he remembers.
