Summary
Due to political tensions between the Andorians and the rest of the Federation, all humans are evicted from Andor. The Enterprise is assigned to take on board the human scientist Dr. Jean O'Leary, who is working on a top secret project. While assisting her in the lab, Spock is infected with the Andorian sleeping disease, which is incurable and known to be deadly for Vulcans. Evidence suggests that someone did this to him on purpose. At the same time, the Enterprise is attacked by an unknown ship and the science lab with all of Dr. O'Leary's work destroyed by an unknown intruder. Now Jim and Bones have to find out who is behind all this and what they can do to save Spock's life.

Summary
For eighty years, Captain James T. Kirk was trapped in an illusion in a temporal nexus. To him, it hardly felt like hours before he was rescued by Captain Jean-Luc Picard, but outside the world went on without him. Now he's free, after recovering from some broken bones, and has to figure out what to do in the 24th century. Thankfully he has some help from a few old friends.
This is an abridged version of my longer fic, Generations. This one just focuses on The Original Series characters and Kirk and Spock's relationship, but if you're up for a lot of conversations with characters from The Next Generation, I recommend reading the complete story.
