As the Paladins rescue another planet, Luminix, Keith and Lance quickly discover that the beautiful landscape is a force to be reckoned with. AKA Keith gets poisoned by a pretty flower, forcing him to always be physically touching Lance until it wears off.
A/N: This is heavily inspired by love bug/love flower au's . I started writing this on a whim but I'm already attached to it, also I'm so emotionally stunted from season 8 and I'm refusing to acknowledge its existence again until I'm healed.

Perhaps they would meet on a train during rush hour when it was standing room only. Maybe the train would jolt and Lance would fall into their arms or they would fall into his. They would both apologise profusely, of course. Their ‘sorrys’ would be spoken at the exact same time, just as they made eye contact with each other unable to look away. Keith was known for his lack of emotional expression. He learned from a young age to keep his feelings to himself, to maintain a strong front no matter the emotions that crashed and tore inside. He knew how to make his body language scream “You can't help me. Leave me alone!” and for the most part, people did.
But now it was different. An unsuspecting, tall, blue-eyed boy from Cuba had effortlessly (and even worse, unknowingly) shimmied and sashayed his way past every emotional barrier Keith had labored away at, and was now settling into his permanent place in the center of the raven haired boys heart.
~Keith comes to terms with his feelings for Lance, & confesses to a very happy blue paladin. Keith starts to learn about some hardships that come w/ serious relationships.

Keith is plagued with chronic loneliness, never feeling like he's able to let anyone in and feel safe. In the refuge of nighttime solidarity, he finds he is able to relax his guard and not fight to keep his walls up.
Unfortunately, this leaves him unprepared when he encounters his fellow paladin at late hours and finds himself feeling uncharacteristically vulnerable. (inotherwords - lance is a beautiful godsend angel that wants to make people happy and is good for keith's emo self. Plus keith is good for lance, they're just good for each other ok?)
