Based on the novel Naked in Death by J.D. Robb (Nora Roberts), with Team Machine as the protagonists.
All due respect and homage to Nora Roberts, for her magnificent multiple series of reading-crack, may her writing arm never falter.

Panic sets in as The Pagon slowly begins to run out of resources. Oxygen, food, water… and that’s only the beginning. A solution is found, it's dangerous, deadly even. But necessary. Lexa volunteers because what else does she have left. Right?

Highly recommend reading Hate the Player first for the get-together portion of Shoot, but you can read it without having read the One Shot Collection if you're only in it for the plot.

With Murphy and Kylo falling fast they realize that letting someone in may not be the worse thing in the world. No, they'll leave that title to the Mountain Men.
