Hobie is shaken by the utter patheticness of the kid in front of him, a slim and sleek looking spider suit contrasted by a terrified mess of a teenage girl. Her hands shake as she crosses them behind her and her posture is as straight as you can get it. She swallows nervously, smiling wearily, it isn't a real smile, just whatever she could muster Hobie bet. Her hair looked messy, forgotten about, scattered over around the hood of her suit. Her eyes were puffy, like she had been crying recently. And god did Hobie’s heart cave in.
Or Hobie taking a post opening scene Gwen under his wing, and learning that maybe he is deserving of love

Sidon's scales are bright against the glow of the luminous stones in the Prince's quarters.
“Color?” He breathes into the air.
Link uses the sign for "emerald" and quickly fumbles with his hands to say "green" and "please, please green" as quickly as he can before Sidon covers Link's flustered hands with one of his own.
Sidon chuckles and leans close to his ear. One hand has somehow found its way to Link's waist.
"Oh, little pearl. I did in fact hear what you called me. Can you say it for me again, hmm?"

Where after reuniting over difficulties in the Zora Domain post-Calamity, Link’s memories of his past encounters with a particular Prince leading up to their reunion resurface. As they celebrate their time spent apart and heal from past hurts, Link remembers more and tries to figure out what he wants out of his new life in the process.

The name is a wobbling, trembling little thing, shaking like pebbles underfoot as the prince of the zoras looks up at her. She knows exactly what he sees. She looks exactly the way she was the day she left- the same accessories, the same clothes, the same healing magic- unchanged and untouched by the passage of time, a price she paid with blood. She swallows, looks away.
The plaza is silent, the only noise Link's steadily halting breaths and the rush of water over silver. She knows she should help him, her magic collecting in her hands and dripping down the sides, ready to help her oldest friend, and yet-
She can't stop staring at her little brother.
(Alternatively, the one where Link mortally wounds himself in Zora Domain and Sidon finally meets his sister again.)
