“Are you…” Nesta started, her voice nothing but a raspy whisper. “Are you real?”
She said the words as if she couldn’t bear to speak them fully aloud, as if she didn’t quite believe that he was.
Cassian blinked, brows furrowing. Not once had he ever seen her like this, not even when Elain had been put into the Cauldron, and not even during the war that followed.
