    The first drop of rain didn’t hit Fumikage. It hit the metal sheet he was using as a make-shift roof. More rain followed, creating a cacophony of bell-like sounds and drenching him completely.

    For whom the bell tolls, indeed.

    Fumikage only noticed something had changed when the bells stopped but around him the rain still fell. Twitching he looked up—straight into green eyes.

    Enji has one last summer to try to get to know his children, and he is realizing slowly and with growing horror that they’ve outgrown him. He looked away and they grew up and he doesn’t know them anymore. And they are so used to him not being there that there’s no room for him to start now.

    But he has to try. He has one last summer before he's going to be all alone in the house with nothing but regret and the barest of hopes that his children will be kinder to him than he has been to them, and he has to try.

    (Also featuring the Todoroki siblings acting like actual siblings, lore drops, Shouto faking an illness, Fuyumi moving out, and Rei being a queen. Not in that order)

    “Deku, what the fuck,” It’s almost indistinguishable from his usual tone, but Izuku doesn’t miss the way his voice is shaking a bit. It takes him by surprise to see his childhood friend look so distraught over this.

    Izuku grabs for the counter to help himself up while maintaining his gaze. “Kacchan,” he says again. He thinks he must look pathetic. He doesn’t know what else to say. ‘Help me, Kacchan’? ‘Go away’?

    His mouth stays open, as if it were stuck like this, just gaping. “Kacchan,” he repeats, but now he sounds desperate, because he is. “I think I’m dying.”


    Izuku is hit by a quirk that stops him from sleeping, his friends are worried and Aizawa needs a break.

    Izuku doesn’t know how he ended up here. Underneath Eijiro, weight settling on either side of him, Katsuki’s eyes watching them both. Up, down, acknowledging their breathing, their hands.
    Every noise he made felt pulled out of him.
    “If you don’t want this…” Katsuki starts, but Izuku shakes his head. Grips Eijiro’s shirt like he’ll leave if he doesn’t ground him. “No!” He says it too quickly. Desperately. “No. I do. I want you.” He swallows thickly. Eijiro’s eyes snap to his throat, and he suddenly feels like prey trapped underneath a predator.
